Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple Mighty Mouse Wireless KitCustomer Review: Maybe a mouse really should have a button.. Summary: 2 Stars
This mouse is functional. It is always registered with my Mac, responsive and smooth. However, its tactile feedback is very poor. Even after 1 year of use, I still find myself miss-clicking the left and right sides. The scroll ball in the center is small and hard and uncomfortable after some time. The "pinch" buttons on the side are mushy and offer no tactile feedback when squeezed enough to activate (I just gave up trying to use them). Finally, the mouse is very low profile and, as an average male, I find after long use my hand would really appreciate a physically larger mouse.
I strongly suggest against this mouse - it's pretty - but function fails to follow form.
Customer Review: Not ergonomic Summary: 3 Stars
It is obvious that Apple was designing for aesthetics and not ergonomics when they created this mouse. After switching from a Microsoft mouse that better fit the contour of my hand, this mouse feels more like a chore to use, tiring my wrists and becoming uncomfortable more quickly than my previous mouse.
The features are nice (squeeze for Expose, quick launch of dashboard) but none of them feel like a "Must Have" for the mouse. If you bought your Mac for the look, then you'll enjoy the compliment that the mouse is to the machine. But if you can spring for a more ergonomic mouse you will probably get greater enjoyment out of using your computer for extended periods.
Customer Review: Not a bad mouse but might be better ones for Mac Summary: 3 Stars
Not a bad mouse. I've used it on a MacPro, the MacBook pro, and the new iMac. It feels OK and do like the small scroll ball. I found no problem with right clicking. On the down side, it isn't has reponsive as the higher resolution MX 1000 laser mouse and there is a design flaw that occasionally causes the bottom of the door that holds the batteries which results in the batteries flying out on your desk or work area. Overall, I would recommend something like the MX 1000 which is more responsive although it is not bluetooth but is rechargeable unlike the Apple MM. I think the Apple MM is a good choice if you want a mouse for PS3 (it does work with it).
Customer Review: Stuck on this "mouse" Summary: 5 Stars
The wireless "Mighty Mouse" with the scroll button wheel is terrific and worth the "bucks" to acquire it. It has all the features you could want and is easily modified to your specific requirements. The small scroll button has 360 degree control, and once you get use to it (like 2 minutes) you can't do without it. Being able to turn this unit "off" when not in use, extends the battery time considerably. No matter how proficient you become with pushing the cursor around with your fingers on the keyborard, you can't beat the "Mighty Mouse".
My only negative comment is, why does an "In-Stock" item take Amazon 3-5 days to ship?

Get a Mighty Mouse it is awesome dude! Really!
I read tons of reviews on the mouse before i tried it they were average about the mouse and higher on the keyboard!
Glad iI listened to me and took the plunge it is terrific, very easy to get the hang of Wow!
And that trackball underneath the index finger is sooooo silky smooth! It does not feel cheaply made to me at all and it is very functual. All I can say is take it from someone whose actually using one and is extremely happy with it.
The Mac Mini, wireless keyboard , and mighty mouse have all been a very pleasant surprise trip that i'm glad I made!
