This product only runs on windows 98, I am running vista and windows 7, did damage to both computers I tried on,
still have no sound on one, worked on them both for hours and hours.....Downloads from the manfacturer do not work, and you cannot contact t hem. Driver detective could not correct, went to manf again for downloads. So sorry I was really hoping it would work, as I have a hdd, I need to open.

Good price, good product, does what it is supposed to do. I removed an internal drive from my desktop PC and installed it in the case. It was already set up as a storage drive but I could not get any PC in my house to recognize it. I finally had to format the drive and then it worked perfectly. Fortunately I had anticipated the possibility of a problem and backed up the data on the drive before the switch.Customer Review: Antec MX-100

Works great.I have only used this enclosure for short periods of time due to the rapid speed of my HD/CPU combination. I own another Antec enclosure that has a built in fan, it is constructed out of plastic. The MX-100 is an all aluminum housing and doesn't have a fan, I have had no problems with either housing, they both work great and I would recommend purchasing this product based on ease of use and price.Customer Review: Don't expect the rebate

If there's a rebate on this product. RUN as fast as you can. Do NOT expect to receive it. Antec is the WORST company when it comes to rebates. The falsely claim they never received it, and then repeatedly push back the dates they claim they are going to mail it hoping you'll forget about it. They don't respond to BBB complaints and lie to the AG. This is a HORRIBLE company that produces mediocre products.Customer Review: Needs a better manual

This thing could use a better manual. I'm a fairy savvy tech guy and it took me a little work to get it going. It was my first time setting one of these up and I didn't realize you had to go into the computer management under cp and set up a partition on the drive. It would have been nice to have that info up front, but I found it easily enough online. Aside from that this thing works great.
