Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Antec Cyclone Blower Case Fan for Any Expansion SlotCustomer Review: Good Deal Summary: 5 Stars
I have to say, the fan does have some noise to it, butnot enuf to be objectionable. It does the job well. I use it in poorly designed cases (such as the older Compaq Presarios) where there was never enough ventilation and there is no spot for a regular case fan. Place the fan as far up the motherboard's PCI slots as you can, heat rises and it seems to do a better job up there. If you want to cool your vid card, this is the perfect fan.
Customer Review: Works good. Summary: 4 Stars
I put this under my GTS 250 1gb video card. I notice that it pulls alot of hot air out of my case and that gives me a sense of peace while my pc is in use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because if its design. Perhaps it could be more sleek, or not as clunky looking. It does feel a bit cheap but it works really well. For the price i paid for it, it was worth the buy. It keeps my whole case free of excess hot air.
Customer Review: Above average case pci-cooler Summary: 4 Stars
This fan-cooler succesfully extracts a lot of hot air at a good rate, but you have to pair it with a good in-take too, like a 12cm fan at more than 3000rpm on the front panel, I have a 8800GT_SC and it lowered the general idle temp from 64°c to 62 and chipset from 45°c to 42°c, its not that much but helps when gaming for 3 or more hours, cause temps rises up a little bit slowly than before, and at 12 bucks it seems to be a budget.
Customer Review: Cheap and effective, but nosiey. Summary: 3 Stars
I'll keep this short and to the point. This fan is cheap and will move a lot of air, and for some people that is great. However, it is noticeably loud. If your computer already has a lot of fans, then this probably won't bother you. However, if you are used to your computer being quite and just wanted to add extra ventilation, then spend the extra money and get a more expensive fan that will not be so noisy.
Customer Review: works well between the graphics and sound cards Summary: 4 Stars
It does everything it needs to do, which is keep heat away from my graphics and sound cards. If the two cards were put together without one of these, there'd be little air space between them. By taking out an out-dated firewire pci card, this does wonders in keeping my computer operating well. It works even better with my air intake fan in the front of the computer, and is the quieter of the two fans I use.
