Customer Review: A good gadget but it didn't do the 3 Stars
This is a good product. However, it isn't compatible with all telephones. It was returned because of this problem. The standard telephone, purchased at a RadioShack, was returned too and a new phone with integrated sound amplification was purchased there (at a much greater cost).Customer Review: Not for old phone systems

I purchased this to use on phones that we use in an area that has a lot of background noise. The phones and lines are old and we have a hard time hearing customers. However, this amplifies the noise and static on the phone also so they do not work for our situation.Customer Review: HE CAN HEAR

This is the best handset amplifier I have ever used. As most of my hearing loss is in the high ranges, the tone adjustment is invaluable. Couldn't live without this device. Hearing on the telephone was diffcult, asking people to repeat themselves over and over again was worse. The device could be a little clearer if you have to increase the volumn; but, other than that, I'm glad I purchased it.
