Customer Review: Micro SD Charging Cable is Beautiful

I recently stayed three weeks in the Philippines and only brought this cable to charge my LG Incite phone. The cable is not only elegant and useful, it works very well as an international charger. Although this cable was not designed primarily as a phone charger, it works very well for devices that use the Micro USB cable. From my experience, this cable is all you need when traveling abroad. The USB cord is very long and fits tightly in the electric plug hub. Amazon also sells this cable at a reasonable price when compared to other companies. If looking to downsize from two cables to one when using a LG Incite, buy this Kindle cable. Micro USB is also the new standard that phone companies have all agreed to adopt by 2012, which means this cable will not end up in the garbage bin in future years.
After using this cable as a travel charger, I am very disappointed to report the casing material is terrible and defective. The casing is all falling off around the cable and this is something I have never observed from any charger. I hope Amazon will give me a new cable because of the shoddy construction. This cable is still the best looking construction I have seen of micro USB chargers, but it is possible it came from a bad batch.
After contacting Amazon customer support today, they agreed to give me a promotional credit to my account because of the defective cable.
