Received an XM Roady for a gift. I like to listen to the sports programming while at work and I have an office with a door, so this seemed to fit the bill. System is as promised and the sound quality is good for a small desktop unit. I'm content with the music soundQ, but since I mostly listen to sport events and talk radio, it isn't a relevant concern.

I am very happy with the Altec Lansing XM3120. Sounds great for such a small item. I use it at work in my office so it's perfect since I don't need to play it real loud. Took it on vacation in our hotel room and it worked great. Does not get real loud but for a first time buy it works for me. This dock is awesome! You can turn the sound up fully and there is no feedback, buzz or hum at all. The sound is directly in a complete circle, so it covers an entire room no matter what the size. The sound on this unit is OK for the price. You won't blow anyone away with the sound, but it is loud enough to be enjoyable. What I wanted to let everyone know is that it also works with the cheaper ExpressEZ (I don't know why this isn't advertised in the description), and you can get some good deals on that unit. I bought this based on the prior review and have been very pleased with the sound. It's not a Bose by any means, but I have a sm apt and the sound is very good. I also agree it looks better than a boombox would be.
For those who are considering satellite radio and a way to bring it into the home, this is a good option.
