I have purchased two Altec Lansing XM3120 Docking/Speaker Systems for Audiovox Express, one for me and one for my girlfriend, because the sound quality is amazing. The ported speaker system delivers full sound across the audio spectrum, it is incredibly easy to install and use, and it fits anywhere in the room - in the corner out of the way, or front-and-center as a major component of your audio-visual environment. Finally, the price cannot be beat. In other words, this is a perfect example of an amazing value. This worked just great with my XM Xpress EZ tuner. It fit in one of the docks with absolutely no modifications. It sounds just great and you don't even need the antenna pointed through an outside window. I have it pointed South right at a sheet rock wall and it works excellently! Two criticisms though; one, it took me a while to figure out how to power OFF the unit. You need to press and hold the XM button on the radio itself for a couple of seconds, and two, there is no battery capability as with the older boom box units but that is just fine with me since I use this in the house.Customer Review: Great Unit......Works with Skyfi3 ALSO.

I bought my Skyfi3 and was looking for a reasonably priced unit to plug it into, so I could take it into work and put on my desk. This works great. It was essentially the only unit of it's type I could find at the time to work. Now, the only thing is the little plastic cover you will have to toss aside and the volume control on this unit will not work with the Skyfi3. (you will have to use the volume on the Skyfi3 itself or the remote (which is what I use). Other than those two minor problems it works great and has all the volume I need for the office and the speakers are fine.Customer Review: Altec Lansing is a Great Item!

For such a small item, it has a lot of power. It can really be loud when you crank up the volume and it does not sound like it is coming from a tin can. The sound is great!
There are only 2 things that needs improvement, the radio needs an on and off button. To turn it off, you have to unplug it. Also, unless you have a clear unobstructed view from the window where you can place the antenna, you wont get good reception for your XM.
All in all, it wasn't a bad buy for the price. No regrets in buying this item!

Perfectly acceptable unit for use on a work desktop or a cubicle. Amazing for the heavily discounted price I paid. Was much smaller than expected, which was good as my wife wanted a small unit. Though other reviews had suggested it worked with the new Pioneer XMp3 portable, no literature I could find said this, and no one mentioned charging. I can confirm that it works with the XMp3, without needing an adapter, and does charge the XMp3, too! Also worked well with my Roady XT using the included adapter, as advertised and expected.
