We have our CPU in the living room in a custom made entertainment center with doors that lock so that my two year old son can't get to all the electronics. So to get to the USB ports we would have to unlock the doors. These extension USB cords make it easy to hook up MP3 players, cameras or whatever else that we need to access the computer. I wish that I had learned about the great prices on cables like this through Amazon long ago. I kick myself for wasting so much money in the past by going to the local B*** B** store. That big electronics chain charges over $20 for cables like this, compared to less than $3 here. The cables got to me two days after I ordered them. Purchased these items for work to extend USB wireless adapters for better signal quality. Out of the 25 or 30 I ordered, I have run into 2 bad cables so far. Not too disappointed yet as I have still not used about half of them. Hopefully the rest are in good working order. Price was very competitive but shipping was a little slower than usual. Go on-line to radio shack, best buy and whoever else and price one of these cables. Then check out the price for this little number, Oh-lordy what a difference.
And guess what, this one does the exact same thing as those others. The construction is the same, so why pay more.
The supplier is wonderful to deal with, received the item in a timely fashion.

I received the cable in a few days after ordering. I bought them to use as extensions for our Droid phone chargers. After a few days I disconnected mine, it wouldn't let my phone fully charge. My boyfriend just followed my example tonight, his phone was shutting off everytime he plugged it in. After removing the cable from the picture everything worked fine again.
