I have used At&T Corded Trimline phones for many years. A cheap Conair phone which I bought because it was green(a hard color to find)needed to be replaced because the numbers to dial out disappeared off the buttons within 9 months of use. The Trimlines have all the features you want in a land line phone,are dependable, but most important you can't beat the price. Cost is low but it Is NOT a cheaply made phone. The other Trimline I own has lasted more than 12 years so I'll stay with white & quality.Customer Review: Excellent for what it is

I'm amazed by the number of people these days who own nothing but cordless phones. Now, I like cordless phones; they're an indispensable part of modern life. But, unlike a simple phone like this Trimline, most cordless phones don't work when the electricity goes out. This phone requires no battery or AC power, and has a lighted keypad, and a ringer on/off switch--all of which make it a nice bedroom phone for emergencies. The sound quality is good, and the volume is adjustable.Customer Review: Compact phone, No ringer option. Good price. Works well.

I was tired of cordless phones with batteries always running down, and wanted this in another room so I didn't have to run too far to answer it. This is perfect. It works well (and also would serve as an emergency phone as it works if the electricity goes out). You can turn the ringer off, so it dosn't disturb in a room where someone sleeps, and doesn't drain the phone system capicity too much. Just what I needed, for the same cost as replacing the cordless battery!Customer Review: Phone ok for the price

I bought this phone as a back up for when the power goes and and cordless phones don't work. I looked at Wal-Mart and this phone was over half the price of one a similar style. The big drawback to this phone is you cannot shut off the ringer! I don't need another phone ringing when I get a call, so now it simply sits with the phone line unplugged and wedged underneath it waiting. Had I known I could not turn off the ringer, I would not have bought this phone.Customer Review: This is a practical and basic corded phone

I already have cordless phones. I bought this corded phone for emergency when electricity goes out. I have a mom who stays home most of the time. Therefore, I believe it will be very useful since we have a bad experience not able to contact each other during the last power outage. No problem mounting it on our kitchen wall. It has memory and speed dialing feature which is a plus. I would rate it 5-stars if the keypad has a brighter illumination.
