Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of AT&T 210 Corded Phone, White, 1 Handset

Customer Review: Not so happy
Summary: 3 Stars

I would assume that the phone works fine. I have not been able to use it as of today. The problem is that I searched for a 2 line phone and AMAZON selected this phone with my search option. I guess I did not double check the specifications. Since the phone was just like the single line phone I have already. I was happy to purchase the same phone with the benefit of being a 2 line phone. Not unhappy with the phone. I am unhappy with AMAZON or whomever put a keyword in that allowed the phone to be selected as a 2 line phone. Now I have a phone I do not need.

Customer Review: Stop Whining -- This Is a Basic Telephone
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a basic telephone at a basic price. You throw it away when it does not work anymore. You do not spend your life complaining to customer service or writing long product reviews about how disappointed you are.

Note to those who say this is not a wall telephone: Read the user's manual! The telephone comes set up as a desk telephone. You must extend the handset tab in the base to use the telephone as a wall unit. If the handset tab is not extended, then the handset will fall off the base unit when wall mounting the telephone.

Customer Review: A good basic phone
Summary: 4 Stars

We bought this as a wall phone for our kitchen and had no trouble mounting the phone on the plate where our old phone was. (If you use this model as a wall phone, be sure to flip the little tab on the base so that it will hold the handpiece in place. The instructions explain how to do this.)

I find that my voice echos back a little bit when I am talking, but I hear the other party well. I haven't had a chance to use the memory or other advanced features, so I can't comment on those. So far, this phone meets our needs and was a good value.

Customer Review: not so great for great-grandma
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought 2 of these phones for my mom. She needed a light-up keypad since she has cataracts. The light inside the phone only illuminates a couple of numbers, and then not very brightly. She also did not like the ringtone. She prefers a ringtone of older standard phones, which is why I chose the Trimline. It's a classic style that I expected to meet her expectaions. It did not, and my 30 days from ordering it were up, so I could not return them, so I passed the phones on to my daughter for her new house.

Customer Review: The phone works but
Summary: 3 Stars

First get a longer cord to go with it. Then make sure you have those little sticky things to put on the bottom so it won't fly off the table everytime you answer it. Today, I haven't found a single phone manufacturer who will make their corded phones heavy enough. In the 70's and 80's you could use a phone as a deadly weapon they were so heavy. Today they are like cheap chinese plastic. I wish they would go back to the weighted bases so these phones would stay in place like the old rotary dials use to.
