Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of AT&T 210 Corded Phone, White, 1 HandsetCustomer Review: Great phone Summary: 5 Stars
AT&T Trimline 210 Telephone (White)
Our old Southwestern Bell wall mount phone was failing, so we selected a GE phone at Walmart. We could never keep the phone from falling off the hook when we hung it up. We have been happy over the years with our other Trimline phones so replaced the GE with this model. No complaints. No whistles or bells, but a nice plain reliable phone. Keep it up AT&T. We also purchased an AT&T rechargeable phone and answering machine combo and it is perfect, too. AT&T knows what they're doing with phones.
Customer Review: calling home... good phone! Summary: 5 Stars
What you have here is a quality, reliable phone. While it's not like the updated models you see today, it serves its purpose, and serves its purpose quite well. When it comes down to it, no matter what kind of fancy phone you see in the world today, you're still basically typing numbers in *just* to talk to someone. This is why ANY phone will do. The size, comfort and everything else doesn't matter when it comes down to it. Don't even get me started on "ring tones". Geez.
As long as the numbers work and the signal is clear, who cares? The AT&T phone is exactly what you should buy. It's a good old phone.
Customer Review: MISTAKE Summary: 5 Stars
The design of this corded telephone is very comterble to talk into. The easy-to-read green backlit oval kepad makes it easy to dial at night without having to reach up with one arm to turn on the light. The handset and ringer volume controls makes it easy to turn the volume up or down to make the ring louder or softer and makes it easy to make it to a comterble listening level. The only mistake at&t made was when I press the fire button, it calls 911. It says on the box: "# ONE BEST-SELLING PHONE OF ALL TIME" I can tell why. It has all the features that you can get all in one telephone. I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!!
Customer Review: The AT&T phone Summary: 5 Stars
The phone was a great purchase. I am very content with this phone. I prefer the landline phone over the cordless because the cordless's battery life is limited. My last landline phone lasted me over 15 years. My cordless lasted only about 5 years. This phone has lived up to what was promised. It is simple and works well. The back light on the handset works well. The only complaint I have is the ring. They have it set on a basic ring, but it sounds like a long tweet sound. I don't like it but it is tolarable. You can change it to one of two other choices but they are no improvement. Otherwise it was a great buy.
Customer Review: Crystal Clear Sound Summary: 5 Stars
Aside from being very comfortable to hold, the Trimline 210 has the most clear sound of any phone I have ever owned. Plain old telephone service (POTS) only has a 3KHz upper bandwidth but the engineers at AT&T figured out a way to boost the high frequencies on this phone. The sound is extremely bright (lots of high frequency content) which makes this phone a winner in my book. There's nothing worse than trying to understand someone using a muddy "noise cancelling" headset which in reality just filters out all of the high frequency content. This phone does the exact opposite and I highly recommend it.
