Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of AT&T 1855 Corded Telephone with Digital Answering System and SpeakerphoneCustomer Review: A good phone, but . . . Summary: 4 Stars
This is a good phone for the price. Voice quality and clarity is excellent and it works great as the "wired" base in the house. Two drawbacks are, the display panel does not light up and the wall mount is straight up and down with no attachment to give it a bit of an upward angle - it makes reading the display difficult.
Customer Review: just ok Summary: 3 Stars
easy enough to use and program, this phone is cheap and basic. I really was hoping the speaker phone would work well. The volume is loud and clear so it succeeds on that point. However, if I'm farther than 2 feet from it people complain that i'm quiet and hollow sounding. if you use speaker all the time, look elsewhere.
Customer Review: digital phone Summary: 4 Stars
This phone has been a good thing for my mother in law. She had difficulty hearing and the adjustable speaker and earphone have been wonderful.. She can hear the ringing and the lighted answering system have helped her tremendously. It is a landline phone so if there is a power problem the phone still works... Love it!
Customer Review: display dial doesn't work right Summary: 2 Stars
Well, this is a weird one. The display dial feature doesn't work right. On my phone, if you hit the display dial of the number on caller ID, I get someone totally different then the number shown. For example, I hit display dial for a florida number, and got someone here in Pennsylvania. Would not recommend this phone.
Customer Review: speak to me Summary: 5 Stars
Phone works very well. It is a little tricky to set up. Has many options to choose from. The voice announcing the callers number is loud and clear.Choice of ringer is really nice. Could use a longer cord for the handset, but that's easily taken care of. Screen can be read very easily. Very happy with purchase.
