It's a good set of features at a good price. I wanted speakerphone, caller id, and answering machine. Has all 3. If I want to get picky it would be: the machine's computerized voice is not a great voice. The power light above the play button is a little big I don't see why the power on light has to be so big. For some reason those things bugged me a little from giving it a perfect review. On a plus side having a mute button with speakerphone is nice. The unit is not too big on a desk smaller than some other units. The number buttons are nice feel, they are good size but not too big, and flat. So overall good value.

AT&T 1855 - Digital Answering System Speakerphone w/ Caller ID / Call WaitingAT&T's 1855 Speakerphone with Digital Answering System and Caller ID is designed for the customer who needs a basic corded phone with enhanced features. The three-line LCD allows you to view the name, number, time and date of incoming calls at a glance, even those on Call Waiting. Caller ID stores the name, number, time and date of up to 50 incoming calls, whether or not the phone is answered. Numbers stored in Caller ID history can be dialed directly. The speakerphone frees your hands for more important tasks, and the one-touch redial button provides you with a convenient way to quickly call someone back after you've hung up.
A digital answering system is built into the telephone, reducing clutter on your desktop. Because operation is fully digital, messages are stored without the use of tapes or other moving parts that can wear out. Access your messages when you are away from home with the remote functions at your disposal from any touch-tone phone.
The Volume control lets you customize the proper audio levels, and the Mute button gives you instant privacy when someone's on the line. The phone is wall mountable to help save space.
