Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of A-DATA Class 6 SDHC Flash Memory CardCustomer Review: Video Amateur Summary: 5 Stars
I bought A-DATA 16 GB SDHC Class 6 flash memeory last month and used it on Panasonic ZS3 camera. Both still photo and video caputures are fine. I am happy with the product so far. It is a cheaper product than other brands.
I am able to download the photos and videos from the camera to laptop via USB port. My laptop has a memory card reader but I cannot read this memory card directly to pc for some reason. I haven't tried other memory cards either; therefore, I don't know if it is my laptop's card reader limitation or not. My laptop is 2 years old.
Any how, I can transfer the data from the memory card to pc via USB port serves my purpose. For the price $ 30.00 I paid, it is a great value for the money.
Customer Review: inexpensive, fast, huge Summary: 5 Stars
I have a Panasonic HDC-SD5 that uses SDHC cards. Bought two of these for my daughter's birth. I formatted both cards in the camera, and less than a minute later, each card is showing me 174 minutes of recording at the highest quality the camera supports.
Shot about an hour of footage of visiting grandparents, using both cards to make sure they both work, burned an SD DVD of the proceedings before the grandparents were out the door. Everything works beautifully, everyone is thrilled with the video, daughter is adorable (this was not altered by the purchase of this product :)
What more can I say? With as little as I spent, this is an amazing value for the money.
Customer Review: Good memory, great value Summary: 5 Stars
I love taking pictures, both still and motion, as well as record happenings on my camera. Therefore, I have many cards in my house, and I have no complains of this or other products I have from other brands. In my opinion, it really doesn't matter which brand it is, as long as it retains the pictures and serves its purpose. Transfer speed on this A-DATA card is similar to other brands, and to be frank, I don't see any difference with plastic quality the other person mentioned. It works great and I've been using it for awhile. SD cards are standardized formats, like CD and DVD, so what can possibly go wrong when something is already standardized? My two cents.
Customer Review: Corrupted pictures, can no longer trust it Summary: 2 Stars
I have the 2008 version of this card, and it's started to corrupt some of the pictures we take using our digital camera. After missing some good shots due to this issue, I've totally lost trust in this card and have resorted to buying a new card with better reviews (SanDisk Extreme) in the hopes this issue doesn't happen again.
I'm submitting a warranty claim in hopes of getting a replacement that I can use as a backup card in the future. Warranty help is online only - there is no support phone number. I've filled out an online form... I have little faith this warranty claim will go anywhere.
Customer Review: Good card at a low price Summary: 5 Stars
A-Data is a fast growing Taiwanese manufacturer and marketer of memory products. Generally I've found that A-Data products are the lowest priced or close to it in any particular product class. I own several A-Data flash memory cards and haven't been disappointed.
I've tried this card in both a Panasonic Lumix TZ5 digital camera and it worked fined. I didn't try to measure the speed, rather just noted that the operation was swift and efficient.
In short, the A-Data flash card gives me what I need for a few dollars less than its competitors. Good enough for me.
