I needed a no-frills caller ID wall-phone. This is exactly what I got. It will not stop working when the power goes out. No external power needed. Large numbers for the caller ID. I did not need a lighted display. I am very satisfied.Customer Review: Nice Phone to hang on the kitchem wall.

The voice tone is very clear, the ring can be set to loud and the caller ID is a bonus. The receiver is easy to knock down so it is best installed in an "out of the way" location. A great phone that works when the electricity is out.Customer Review: Never really worked right...

This phone is a good unit that has many features that are very useful. Holds up well. I have four of these phones in my home and am very happy with them. Highly recommend it.

The phone is slim but a lot higher than the normal phone and doesn't look quite right when wall mounted since it sits so far from wall. I ended up buying another phone and using this one for the basement.
