Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of AT&T 265 - Trimline Telephone with Caller ID & Call WaitingCustomer Review: Worked for a few months only Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this phone because I wanted something simple and corded. This phone worked great for the first few months, then the caller ID stopped working and now when I call someone or they call me they can barely hear me (although I hear them ok). The sound quality is very poor and I need to get this phone replaced. A waste of money!
Customer Review: Nice phone but hard to see Caller ID Summary: 3 Stars
I needed a wall phone with caller ID that you could see before picking it up so this seemed perfect since they are hard to find. However, the LCD is small and light, difficult to see. This is with the contrast adjusted as much as possible and fresh batteries. Otherwise a nice phone with a good concept.
Customer Review: Very Disappointed Summary: 1 Stars
I ordered 2 of these phones because I am having trouble finding this type phone in any local store. Needless to say - neither of the phones worked. On one phone the mouthpiece did not work. On the other, the handset had buttons that did not work at all.
So I returned both of the phones.
Customer Review: Good for the money Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this phone as just an "extra" for an upstairs room. It works fine, but I wouldn't buy this if you are not going to mount it to a wall. Either that or plan on replacing the receiver-to-phone cord with a longer one than comes with the package. Otherwise, it's perfect!
Customer Review: Works...Good for the money Summary: 4 Stars
It works, it's cheap. A panel light would have been nice but I read the reviews and knew what I was getting so I have no real complaints. For a cheap wall phone it works well. At least the phone cord can be replaced. Not so with most inexpensive GE and other phones
