Customer Review: glad this isn't my main phone
Summary: 3 Stars

what can i say? i am home sick so decided to order my "in case of emergencies land line" online. the phone is slim and stays out of the way, and for all intensive purposes works...somewhat. you have to play with the cords so there isn't a constant static. whomever calls you can hear you just fine, however, you will endure sporatic static on your end. the caller id works just fine, and like most individual units, blinks when you have a new call. the ease of use for setup and everyday function make this phone user friendly.

Customer Review: at&t caller id phone
Summary: 3 Stars

this is one of the few trim-line phones out there. it has an inter-changeable cord so you can put a longer cord if you need to. the only bad thing about the phone is that it sticks out of the wall so far. GE makes the same phone and it is so much nicer in appearance from the side, but has a permanent cord so you cant change it to another length. in this day and age where everything is getting smaller, it would be nice if at&t would make a more sleek model, like the discontinued, trim-line southwestern bell freedom phone.

Customer Review: very disappointed
Summary: 1 Stars

We were looking for a new phone to replace our old one that no longer worked after 20+ years. The phone claims to have caller id, but whenever a call comes in there is no information available to view before picking up the phone. Also, this phone claims to be "wall mountable". I mounted it to the wall (where the old one was), put the receiver on and the receiver wouldn't stay. This is a very disappointing product from at&t. They don't make them like they used to. We'll be lucky to get a year out of this phone.

Customer Review: Trimline Telephone
Summary: 1 Stars

This telephone has a lot of bells and whistles for cheap. But..if you have a wireless connection in your house, it will eventually disconnect your telephone reception. I called the telephone company for my spotty reception. They made a house call... and to my surprise it was my new trimline telephone that was causing all of my trouble. It had constant static...even with a dsl filter connected to the telephone jack. I unplugged it and my problems were solved. They need to update their equipment.

Customer Review: Good phone, but deceptive pictures
Summary: 4 Stars

It is nice to have a corded phone with caller-id built in. But the caller-id screen is not lighted or backlit. The picture clearly shows it is, but it is not and this is very irritating. You cannot see the caller-id unless you have another light on. For the price though it is still a pretty good deal. Do a search for 'bedroom phone' and you will see a few that are backlit/lighted, but they are quite a bit more expensive.
