Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of AT&T 210 Corded Phone, Black, 1 HandsetCustomer Review: Perfect basic phone! Summary: 5 Stars
When you need a phone during an emergency or power outage, when you want a phone that is reliably located on the "base" where someone hasn't walked away with the handset, this is the IDEAL phone! The phone comes with a longish cord to plug into the phone base and phone jack. If you need the standard short cord to use with a typical wall mounted base there is a slot under the base to wrap the cord instead of providing a shorter second cord. I like this! It's nice that companies are engineering with cost savings in mind! The phone comes with pulse and tone dialing (needed to use computerized dialing.)
Customer Review: Great Simple Phone Summary: 5 Stars
If you are looking for a very basic phone - if you do not care about speaker phones, 2 lines, answering functions and the like, this is a great phone. What it does, and will do both perfectly and forever with great clarity of sound, is it will answer all the calls coming into your line, and will dial all your calls going out. It is powered through the phone line, so you do not need a outlet. And, actually, the white version is under [...] - black cost a little more. If you are old as I am and are use to things like phones and refrigerators lasting more than 20 years, this is the phone for you.
Customer Review: Not as good as my old Conair phone Summary: 2 Stars
Sound quality was down and keypad lighting was inferior compared to my old Conair phone. I also found the electronic tones to indicate a ringing phone to not be to my tastes. I guess AT&T forgot how to make a basic phone. Folks, go to a garage sale and find the phone you like for $1 or less. The only positives I have to say about the phone is that it looks nice in shiny black and that the part of the headset that sits by my ear is fairly comfortable in the "old classic phone" way. Two nice things to say means 2 stars.
Why oh why did Conair quit making phones?
Customer Review: Simple, practical, and flawless design Summary: 4 Stars
There are no bells and whistles here---just a solid, reliable, phone that will always work when you need it to. No batteries run out, no annoying buzz in the background, no phones lost in the bed, under the couch, etc. Just a great phone. I've been using mine for five years and prefer it to my cordless by far. The only problem with this model is 1. the cord that connects the receiver to the part you speak into is way too short (buy a 25 foot cord to replace it) and 2. the 25 foot replacement cord always gets tangled up. But this isn't really a big deal.
Customer Review: Great, simple little corded phone! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a fantastic little phone for the price. The design is simple but the sound is crystal clear. It isn't loaded down with a bunch of complicated features that make it difficult to operate or that can tear up. Everyone needs at least one corded phone because cordless phones don't work during a power failure, and this AT&T phone is an excellent choice for a corded phone. I use it in my bedroom, and I feel secure in knowing it will work if I wake up during the night and need to make an emergency call. I would highly recommend this phone.
