These are not being made anymore, but the two I have had for 3 years, are still work great today. I travel a lot and they have probably been on 100 business trips with me, being tossed around and stuck in my pocket with my iPhone. So I bought this charger some time ago b/c my car charger has gone completely kaput and it is a life save. I use this whenever I'm driving far, I go to MA all the time and I use this for my GPS and basically to keep the juice on my phone strong. I now have FOUR of these. It's slim, light, and best of all charges my Iphone from dead to full in about an HOUR. It's small enough to keep two in my briefcase, and it's easy to leave it in my coat pocket while talking on the phone which is charging from it. I have purchased four APC universal batteries. I use them for my iPod, iPhone, and other MP3 players. They are so easy to use and I don't know how many times I have been saved by them when a device's main battery runs out of juice. I've used APC UPSs for years with no complaints. Unfortunately, that's not the case with this product. A year ago, I purchased one, and it failed in six months. APC promptly sent a replacement, but the second unit also failed in about six months. Clearly, there's a serious design flaw or QA issue.
