Works as advertised in real world use. I have charged my Blackberry and i pod several times and experienced no difficulties. You just have to remember to push the button to wake the device up before it will charge anything. Very useful on long trips where electrical outlets are not handy. Update: Eight months after my initial review, the APC unit has experienced no issues and is working as well as ever. 20-month update: Still working great with no problems.Customer Review: Great backup battery so far

I've used this only a couple of times and so far I'm impressed. It's very sleek and not boxy as the pictures might suggest. ONE fully charged battery serves to recharge the iphone TWICE, so it's great on long trips where you might not be close to electricity for a while. It's also great if your power goes out (as it did with Hurricane Ike recently) and you're on the phone a lot contacting family, electric company, etc.Customer Review: Not for PSP

The UPB10 information says that it will charge portable gaming systems and some of the advertisements show what looks like the outline of a Playstation Portable (PSP). However, the PSP does not charge via its mini USB port and APC has not released a cable that will connect to the 5 volt DC input to the PSP (nor do they have an estimated date of availability).
A bit of deceptive advertising in my opinion.

Outstanding product!
I've purchased three of these over the past 2 years, still have two of them (stepped on and broke one)... Each battery gives me roughly two complete charges on my iPhone 3G (more than any of the competing brands I've tried), making my regular and terribly long international flights way more bearable.
Can't say enough good things about it, can't go wrong buying one. ;)

I bought the battery as a backup for my ipods and iphone during long flights that I take for work. But a couple of days after it arrived, Hurricane Ike hit Houston. I was without power for 11 days and relied on this battery to charge my iPhone and stay in touch during this period. Charged it off my car power outlet. No compatibility problems with iPhone 3G, iPod Touch or other iPods. Highly recommended.
