I have purchased at least three different devices to try to give myself an extra power boost for my iPhone when I travel (since I like to watch videos/movies or listen to music on the plane but still want to be able to make a phone call when I arrive). None have worked very well until this device. It is awesome and works not only with my iPhone, but also with iPod and with my laptop computer. It has been a real time-saver for me and I only wish I had found it first. Easy to charge, small enough to carry conveniently - carry even in a purse.Customer Review: Amazing iPhone and USB Charger

I purchased this back up battery for an over seas flight and I was not disappointed. I was able to use my iPhone for more or less 24 hours without having to use a wall charger. I could use my ipod 30 pin cable and charged the phone about three times without having to recharge the universal battery.
The battery has a nice 4 led light bar that tells you the charge level and comes with everything you need to charge the battery and a mini usb device. Great item and if you need additional power it is a must have.

I bought one of these for around $10 when Circuit City was closing. I've had it for over a year and I love it. It surprises me how long it lasts. I can fully charge my iPhone at least twice on one charge. After that I usually will go ahead and recharge the APC so I'm not sure how much longer it would last. It's very lightweight and I carry it with me in my purse. I use my iPhone constantly and don't want to be caught with a dead or low battery with no way to charge it so this is great!Customer Review: UPB10 - Great for Road Warriors

I have been using this pack for the last 6 months and my charging needs include BB8800, Toshiba Gigabeat, iPod Classic and a vintage Dell PDA. Works like a champ. Original APB charging cable (USB to Mini-USB) also serves BB and Gigabeat and I carry 2 more retractable cables (1 each for iPod and Dell PDA). Store all items in a Case Logic Portable Hard Drive Case (PHDC) and throw it in my carry-on flight bag when travelling. Even though APC has been bought by a French company (boo!) the quality has yet to suffer. A great battery that keeps my 8 gig Ipod touch in service for hours on end. Yes, you do have to push the button to get the juice flowing every 15 minutes, but that is much less of an issue than some make it out to be. I think the main purpose for this battery is to keep your device working while you are using it as opposed to setting it and forgetting it to charge your device.
