I ordered this for my mother who is a bit older and technologically challenged. I wanted to provide a way for her to recharge the iPod we gave her for Christmas since she doesn't have a computer. And she regularly makes trips to the beach and her new hybrid car has a hookup for her iPod but the power connection wasn't convenient and I thought she could also use it on those trips. It works great!! Out of the box, no problems at all. It's even easy for her to hookup and recharge. The LCD indicator lets her know when it's getting low on power, but so far that hasn't been a problem. I highly recommend it and plan to get one for myself!!Customer Review: Really disappointed

I bought it to charge my Nokia N810 PDA and my daughter's Nintendo DS or PSP while on the road. It does not work on any of those! It only works for my verizon cell phone. I guess the problem is it has a very limited charging capability. Anything bigger than the cell phone shuts down the battery circuit.
I later bought a Duracell backup battery, which works great on all of my devices. But it has only 1000mAhour of energy, which is about half of the APC unit.
The APC unit looks good and has good energy level. But it is only good on paper. Big disappointment, especially considering the price tag!!!

I bought this to power my PureSmoker Electronic Cigarette Passthrough, which has an output of 5v. This power pack works great! I've been able to vape all day and still have half a charge on the device.
Pros:
*Easy to Use.
*LED Light shows 4 bars, showing you how much battery you have left.
*Lightweight
Cons:
*Shuts off every 20 minutes on it's own, not really that big of a deal, just hit the button and it's back on.
All in all, it's a shame they stopped making this product. It's great! One of the best power packs I've used!

I bought this product because I was taking a long flight to Europe.
It did just what it was supposed to. You get about 2 iPhone charges out of it. It is very lightweight and sleek, so it is easy to carry around. Sometimes I even stick it into my pants pocket if I'm in a hurry.
Having to press the button a couple of times to fully charge my phone does become annoying, that is why I am not giving it 5 stars.
It would be nice if they came out with a thicker, double-duty version good for 4 charges. I would definitely buy that!

I find myself running out of juice with my iphone one (the non 3G first release) - and this thing worked great. I take it whenever I go anywhere I might be away from the charger for an extended period.
It gives two or more recharges to the iphone no matter where you are - maybe more but I haven't needed more. Indicator tells you when it's getting low. Simple. Easy. BTW: You need the white wire from your wall charger for the iphone to connect to it - the usb part of it. If you use it lot you might need to buy an extra one.
