I've had this product for a couple of years. There is now a clicking sound coming from this unit.
I've read the APC forums with people complaining about the same clicking sounds coming from their APC unit.
I've yet to find a remedy for this problem. I've heard of people replacing the battery, changing the software settings all
to no help. I may have to try another brand if it doesn't stop making the clicking sound.

I bought this APC to upgrade from an older (BK200) model which I had in service for many years. This model is a major step up and I was pleasantly surprised with the functionality of the software that comes with this unit...it's great. I'm very pleased with this unit and the history of good service with my older unit, which I passed down to my grandson for continued use....I definitely recommend this unit and APC products in general!Customer Review: Not for higher power computers ! ! !

Watch out when buying a UPS for newer higher power computers. This one shut down my Dell XPS 435T with a 475W power supply. I thought it would handle my Dell but you need a type with true sine wave not simulated. Don't know if I'm ready to spend $150 for one to handle the computer and 2 monitors, not to mention cable modem and router. Atleast the return policy was great. Take my advice and do a lot of research when buying a UPS.Customer Review: Great product

I've bought two of these so far. The first one I gave to a family member when I moved, and bought a second one for my new place. It's a great UPS that has been very solid. I don't live in an area with many power outages but it's good to know I am backed up in case, as I have multiple harddrives and devices that I plug into this. I already own an APC UPS that I purchased over 10 years ago. It is still running strong. I hope that this one runs as long. This one has twice the power rating and hopefully will run well. I haven't had any blackouts or brownouts since purchasing this, but it will probably happen soon as the power goes out once every other month or so. Based on past experience with APC equiptment, I would say that this was a good buy.
