I, like others, have had multiple problems with my UPS. After just over a year, the battery was useless and my entire system would power down without even a beep from the UPS. The Technical Support was awesome and diagnosed the problem over the phone; the issue required they ship a replacement. I got the replacement and I'm about 3 months into that and am experiencing the same problem as before. This is a fine UPS for small devices. I bought it to provide backup for my cable/phone modem saving $20 over what the cable company wanted for a UPS. There is nothing much to the setup - hooking up the wire to the internal battery takes a little manipulation though. When I pull the plug out of the wall, it switches over without a hitch, just like a UPS is supposed to and all the phones in the house keep working fine.Customer Review: Marginal!

Well I should have known better...you have to be running a 15" iMac to get the "27 minutes" of runtime. I get about 3. That's without a monitor. Okay, I've got a pretty beefy tower with 3 hard drives, etc. but I expected a bit more. I will give it the PowerChute software performs well, allowing for a graceful shutdown of the machine. So it's marginal protection, very little runtime, but better than I had before.Customer Review: APC BE350 R back up

Recd in record time, and came as ordered. My only concern was the fact that I had to install the battery myself before charging. It seemed easy enough however the battery leads were on the short side and I was concerned with stretch them to fit. It has been a great asset for my home, as now when the power shutoff momentary, I don't loose phone, internet or router. A huge plus, and the cost was ecconomical

This is a great little ups. I have my TV, answering machine and Tivo unit on it. While I don't know how long it will run the TV it does keep my Tivo from swallowing it's own tail, which alone is well worth the small price. Only problem is the power button needs to recessed a bit more. Hate coming home to see what Tivo has recorded for me only to find out one of the katz has turned everything off.
