I wanted to back up my electronics around my TV station. It appeared to be working OK. One evening while watching TV the alarm when off and I lost the TV, but I did not lose power to the house or other electronics. Will see what happens over the next few months. This prevents me from having to reset all my devices after a power outage, there should be enough battery to carry them when the devices are off during a power outage.Customer Review: Excellent Protection for the money.

I have a MacBook Pro and an external drive protected by APC 350 battery back-up, and other peripherals, including a scanner plugged into the power strip side. This is my second APC as I have used a 350 ES model for 5-6 years for my Dell desktop system and lived through many electrical power "blinks" and outages without losing power to my computers. They work! And the price has come down since I bought my first APC.Customer Review: Screaming alarm

Not pleased with this product. The alarm will sometimes start sounding (a long, high, continuous beeeeeeep), perhaps caused by a power surge in the line, and there's no (practical) way to turn off the alarm except for shutting down your computer and turning off the UPC.
I bought a UPC for uninterrupted workflow during power surges, and instead it causes more hassle than it prevents.

Works flawlessly so far. I have my dishnetwork box, TV, Wii, and DVD player plugged in. I unplugged power and the components still ran after 5 minutes. I plugged it back in because I didn't want the battery to completely drain so I can't say how much longer the battery would have lasted. Five minutes is good enough time to shut down the components. Will buy another one for upstairs.Customer Review: Not just for computers

I own 4 of these units, purchased over a period of a few years, and have a lot of faith in them. I have one for my computer equipment, but also use them for my Tivo's, XBox, DVD players and LCD TV's. This one keeps my modem and router going. Great protection, and having your DVR on one keeps you from experiencing program interruptions when the power flickers. Highly recommended!
