I ordered this phone for my 90 year old mother. Took Amazon over one week to send it out with supersaver free shipping. When I opened tha package it was perfectly obvious that some other Amazon customer returned this and Amazon simply re sold it to me. If I want used electronics I will go to a flee market! The phone is dead and I'm returning it to Amazon. I think they shoud refund shipping plus hassle fee but I doubt it.

This phone was purchased for people in their 80's and it is working fairly well for them.
The ringer button on the right side of the phone caused problems for a day or two as when you move the phone it is very easy to slide this button to off which then the phone blinks red when it is ringing but if you don't see well it is hard to see that.
Other than that the volume of the ring and the voice volume is very good.

Good phone for sight or hearing impaired person. Large buttons, volume boost, memory dial with abiity to put in pictures of designated called party instead of number. This said, phone works byu quality not that of the old AT&T phones or the newer Japanese phnes made by Panasonic etc.. However, these other and better phone manufacturers do not make a phone with buttons as large as that on the Clarity phone.Customer Review: A life saver!

Without this phone, my mother, who is 90 and in a nursing home, would not be able to make calls to her family.
My mother suffers partial memory loss and hand tremors, some vision impairment. She is not able to dial regular numbers, but is able to push the one button needed on this phone to make a call. The night light (which comes on when the phone rings) and volume adjustments are all very helpful.

this phone is perfect for my grandmother who has a hard time Seeing things. the photo dialing is the best function along with the one touch 911
the only issue is as you are programing the phone it actually dials the number you are programing in..... call your non emergency police number and let them know youre programing the phone so when it dials 911 theyre expecting u
