I use the privacy filter on both my laptop and my desktop screens and it is a great addition.
I no longer have to worry about people perusing sensitive info on my computer in meetings or when working in my office.
The filters also prevent me having to quickly minimize my work when someone starts looking over my shoulder.
A must for managers that work with employees' personnel info.

I bought this because I work in a cubicle with a busy passageway behind me. I wanted something that would prevent people behind me from seeing what is on my screen. This product failed. It does nothing to obscure the view from behind. In fact, it cuts glare so it actually gave the people passing behind me a clearer view of my screen! The screen requires lots of clear tabs to keep it stuck to the screen and not sagging, drooping, falling off etc. An extra 1/10th of a milimeter would have been all it took for it to be a perfect fit... I can't imagine the tabs cost less than that extra bit of material would have.
Very disappointed but not worth returning it.

In traditional landscape mode, these filters work just like they're supposed to. However, if you prefer to rotate your screen to portrait mode like I do, they become less than useless. The screen can be seen from just about any angle, except sitting right next to the user, and the screen is darker, but without any privacy benefits.Customer Review: Does not match Description

This product did not fit my 19" screen, it would have been a good product if it matches my screen size. So pay close attention to make sure that your screen and this product matches. I still gave it a three stars because the actual product works. However I had to return for the size issue.
