After reading several negative reviews of this product, I purchased anyway. I'm so glad I did, this is exactly what I needed to shield prying eyes from my work computer screen. My work cubicle opens to my back left & my computer is facing (at an angle) away from said opening. Anyone walking the aisle could see what was on my screen before I could see them! But, not anymore, this product works like a charm to keep 'nosy' coworkers from seeing anything on my screen. It also fits perfectly on my 19" HP monitor screen .. only needed to use two tabs to stop 'bowing' on the right side.Customer Review: ...I returned it

Was anxious for this to work - I put it on a 19" flat panel monitor in a very busy office setting. I was tired of my snoopy co-workers making comments about what I was working on. Some of the material I work on is extremely sensitive. I attached it to the screen and looked at it from every angle and was able to read clearly what was on the screen - from near and far. I was disappointed, but I had no choice but to return it. I since have purchased a much more expensive screen that works just fine. Returning the product to Amazon, however, was hassle-free.Customer Review: Does what it's supposed to do

They just moved my dept into some high density office space with low cube walls. Everybody can see everything you're doing as they walk past your desk. This filter took care of that problem completely. Even people who stand right next to my desk can't see what's on my screen. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the outrageous price. Nearly 80 bucks for a piece of plastic! And this is including Amazon's discount off the even more outrageous list price. But it does the job so I guess the benefits are worth the price, even if the materials are not.Customer Review: 3M Privacy Filter - Decent for value

The 3M Privacy Filter is limited. It's only good to block out people who can read your screen from the side. Anyone who is behind you can clearly see your screen. It's an overpriced piece of plastic and should really go for a price lower than what it is being sold for. I have a 19" inch screen and the privacy screen didn't fit flush onto the screen so I had to cut it and use clear pieces of tape to hold it in place. The reason why I did that is because when it wasn't flush against the screen, it made things blurry.Customer Review: Good privacy item to have

It's actually a not so bad item. It keeps riff-raffs off your back and sides :-)
My only gripe with it is that the sticker holders provided do not hold the filter close to the screen. the filter will be an inch or so- depending on your monitor- away from the screen itself causing some blurriness. Not really a big deal since you can work around it by angling the stickers or using tape or what not.
Over all a well worth buying item to have the privacy you want.
