Customer Review: great piece of mind

I have this on a Dell Letitude E6510, and it's great. Having a 30-degree viewing angle of privacy is awesome. Even if the person is sitting right next to me on the train, they can't see what is on the screen.
Further, it's protecting my LCD screen from getting etched by the keyboard. I've seen this all too often on laptops that are in backpacks where books in the pack press the closed lid against the keyboard. I can afford spending $70 for a new privacy filter again. I can't afford to get a new LCD screen.
My only gripes are the glare and the branding of the privacy screen. The back glare is annoying enough to remove the privacy filter when I don't need it. And the branding on the privacy screen is just plain silly, obstructing text produced by the computer.
Other than that, it's a sweet measure of security that anyone should take when traveling in public with their laptop.
