Customer Review: 3M Ergonomic Mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

Good product for the money. This is easy to use. It's great if you have wrist pain from too much "mousing" on the computer.

Customer Review: Very good ergo mouse
Summary: 4 Stars

I purchased this ergo mouse because of my painful right index finger due to mouse clicking (trigger finger). Now the clicking is done with my right thumb. Press thumb down for left click, and press thumb up on button for right click. Very simple. When I use it I have no pain in my finger and can tell my finger is slowly getting better.

The only complaint I have is that the scroll button is sensitive so I find myself either scrolling too fast or putting too much effort into trying to scroll "just right." But I think the scroll mechanism can be adjusted so it's probably just me.

It comes in 2 sizes. For most people, the regular size is fine. If you have really big hands you'll want the large size. It also comes in a higher priced model sans the wire.

All in all I recommend this product as a viable alternative to the regular mouse.

Customer Review: Can't live without this mouse for 7 years now....
Summary: 5 Stars

I had a 'career-ending' injury 8 years ago. I had severe bilateral tendonitis from fingertip to shoulder; at one point it felt like I had sparks shooting from my fingers to my shoulders. I started using this mouse 2 years later while in school (to 'retrain for a new career') and I simply cannot live without it. This is the ONLY mouse I can use. Today I have minimal elbow discomfort and work full time, all of which is spent on my computer. I cannot tell you how important this product is for people with RSI. Most of my coworkers now use it as well.....

Customer Review: Smart design
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this mouse and have been using it for about a week. It takes a day or so to get used to (my back muscles hurt after the first day of use), but now I love it. What a smart design. It makes those "other" mice so ancient!

I did not have pain in my hands, but at the end of a day of mousing, my muscles on the top of my hand felt tired (I had already gotten away from the traditional mouse and was using a track ball instead). The twisting of my hand was still uncomfortable. But I noticed if I held the track ball in my hand as if giving a hand shake, my hand felt immediate relief...but the ball kept falling out. So I decided to try this vertical mouse and would never go back! Thank you 3M!

Revise: Now that I have used this mouse for a while, it is still comfortable. The only complaint I have is that sometimes, when you least suspect it, the cursor jumps to a different part of the screen. This does not happen all the time, but it happens. In the instruction manual, it states that the optical sensor performs best on surfaces which have visible detail (huh?) and won't function well on smooth surfaces (glass or high-gloss finishes). I had the mouse directly on my computer table (fake wood). After putting the mouse on a mouse pad, it seemed to correct the problem. It is precise and does not jump. In the manual it even shows the mouse being used on a mouse pad. OK, problem solved. This mouse is great!

Customer Review: Waste of money
Summary: 1 Stars

Very uncomfortable, Waste of money. I do computer production work and thought it would keep my wrist from dragging on the mouse pad. It is not useful at all for high speed mousing.
